Matt Children Home

In December 2004, a devastating earthquake in the Indian Ocean triggered a tsunami that severely impacted the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu. This tragic natural disaster claimed the lives of hundreds and left many homeless, including numerous children.

TDH CORE was actively involved in the relief efforts, providing essential aid such as food, medical assistance, shelter, and clothing. The organization worked tirelessly to support the recovery of the affected communities, offering care and assistance to those injured or displaced by the calamity.

Matt Home, located near the ocean in the Cuddalore District, was established by an Italian family in memory of their beloved son. It became a refuge for many children rescued during the disaster and has since grown into a haven for vulnerable children in need of care and protection in the area.

Chezhian Ramu founded Matt Children, an initiative aimed at instilling hope and empowering the younger generation. Driven by his unwavering commitment, he inspires children to aim high and achieve their fullest potential, encouraging them to embrace success and ambition.

Let us all extend our compassion and support to these vulnerable children, nurturing their dreams and aspirations.

“The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that ultimately do.”

Can we count on you?
